The connection mode for controlling WD TV media players has been updated, and Telnet is no longer supported. Users are advised to refer to the help section for instructions on setting up the new connection mode.
For WDTV Gen2 & WDTV Gen1 users, new files on the USB drive are necessary. Detailed information can be found in the help section.
In order for the app to function properly, the Web Interface Remote must be accessible.
